The Centre of Mindfulness will host the Asalha Puja, led by Bhante Dhammasakkaro Maha Thero. Asalha Puja is the event that marks the anniversary of the Buddha setting of the Dhamma Wheel in motion, and occurs in conjunction with the ceremony that marks the beginning of monks’ observation of Vassa Rains Retreat. All are welcome to join the assembly and perform holy rituals such as offering flowers and candles to the Buddha.
